Exhibition "Saxon Visions. The Architecture of Power"
The exhibition at the Royal Castle in Warsaw explores the architectural transformations of the Castle during the Saxon era and the role of architecture in shaping the image of the Wettin dynasty, which ruled the Polish-Lithuanian throne at the time. It showcases the visions of Augustus II, who sought a grand reconstruction of the Castle to highlight the prestige of his rule, as well as the achievements of Augustus III, who restored its role as a royal residence.
